We have been hunting in
this area for 60 years and have an area
of 5000 square miles that we are licensed to hunt in. Duck
hunting is our specialty and we prefer to offer only this.
However, Canada geese are starting to change their flyway and we are
getting more goose hunts every year.
Since
we are hunters not hoteliers, we do not supply accommodations nor
food. There are local establishments that have rooms, campsite/trailer
parks, saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, bars, VLT's & 24 hour restaurants.
Reservations at hotels or motels are reccomended. There are two casinos
close by(30m and 60m), two local golf courses, water-slide (if the
weather is nice) and a ski hill if snow comes early. There
is a must-see world class museum in town which focuses on the early
1900's. Needless to say, the fall fishing is great at Round,
Crooked and Moosomin Lakes. You can go further north(6 hrs) to Tobin
Lake for the wall hangers.
